Hoping someone here might be able to help me in my predicament.
I am a British citizen wanting to marry my partner who is from Singapore. The problem I have is that all the information I've come across says that you must be able to support your partner without recourse to public funds and will be rejected if this is not the case. As I am disabled myself and hence receiving public funds, I have no idea how to proceed.
Is there any way around this? Would it be better for us to marry in Singapore and then she come here, would that marriage be recognised here?
