When to apply for ILR using Form SET(M)

Post by vinpat1 » Wed Jul 13, 2011 11:52 am

Hi

My Wife's spouse visa is valid from 15/05/2009 and expires on 15/08/2011.

We were told that we have to apply 28 days before the visa expires by a family memeber who had previously gone through the same process, but reading the documents myself it says 28 days before the 2 year period. So that means we are late in applying.

Please can someone shed some light on this, as I think our only option would be a PEO visit now.

Thanks
From a nervous wreck

When did she initially enter the UK on her spouse visa?

Hi Vinny

Thanks for your reply.

Would you recommend the PEO visit or would postal be OK?

Also can I clarify that the 2-year period in her case would have been on 05/06/11?

Thanks

Postal okay.
Yes. Completed 2 years on 05/06/11.

Make sure that she submits a valid application.
