Suitable Accommodation

Post by Katran » Sat Jul 16, 2011 2:28 pm

I am a UK citizen and I want to get married to my fiancée and for her to settle with me here in the UK. I am currently living with my parents in a 4 bedroom detached house which my parents own outright. My parents and I are the only occupants. I am in full time employment and have funds of £25,000. Initially I and my fiancée intend to live with my parents for a month or two before we decide together on what accommodation we wish to rent. Do you recommend that I make the application using my parents address giving all the accommodation details or would it be more appropriate to rent a property now and use this address for the visa application?

Living with parents is not a problem.

Do also read Form SET(M)'s requirements now.

Do it from your parents home as all your documents that you will need will be at this address.

You will need a letter of support from your parents stating that you can live with them rent free until such time you can afford your own.

Or, you may live with parents indefinitely.
