I think what others are saying is, You got the basics wrong..Starting with "I am currently under tier 2 post study ." Which is wrong. Post study work is Tier1.. Tier2 is a employer sponsored visa you are trying to switch to.linux44 wrote:I am not trying to be rude but what you say is starting to annoy me.
instead of criticising at least say why is wrong
I have read this information from ukba site and if u don't have the knowledge the please don't comment.
the resident labour market is not needed for anyone graduating in the UK in a degree level or working for a company for more than 6 month so instead of simply saying it is wrong tell ur reason and reference otherwise don't post or comment and waste my time and whomever that may have same question as me in future that reads this article
the only thing that I am not sure about is the process the employers that have to go through to get certificate and what are the restrictions
As stated above you only get 30 points for switching from PSW if you have been working for the employer for 6 months.linux44 wrote: well if u have said what u said now i would have left the previous comment.
I don't expect people to read the website for me and I appreciate every single input whether it helps or not. anyways
looking at the site it mentiones that I should score 50 points, 30 of which is if I am on shortage occupation list/ passed resident labour market test/ or switching from post study. i think the last one applies to me.
the other 20 point is for salary which should be above 20k which mine is, does that mean i should be ok to be sponsored?
the only thing that concerns me is the hassle for an employeer, will it be too much , is it costly for them ?
thanks
so you complain when you are told to read the tier 2 polcy guidance rather than be given the answer, and when we give you the answer you continue to ignore it - please read the tier 2 policy guidance and pay particular attention to paragraph 81.linux44 wrote:i checked on thier website again and used the point calculator and here is what it says
You should select 'Yes' if your salary is £20,000 or above, or if you have last had entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain under one of the following:
Tier 2 (General) migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2011
Jewish Agency employee
Member of the Operation Ground Staff of an overseas-owned airline
Minister of Religion, Missionary or Member of a Religious Order
Representative of an overseas newspaper, News Agency or Broadcasting Organisation
Qualifying work permit holder
t below it says check the code of practice. does my employer have to confirm that i get the approperiate rate when applying for certificate of sponsor ship?
if my employer does not have to do a resident market labour test, do i still need to show that I meet the minimum salary requirements?
