BC for child born before ILR

Post by saurabhobeja1 » Sun Feb 05, 2012 2:58 am

Hi,

I and my wife got my ILR on 31/01/12. My child was born on 03/12/2011. I still havnt applied for her passport and did not include her in my ILR applications. I have also not informed the Indian High Commission about her birth.

1. I wanted to know if I can fill MN1 form for registration for citizenship without an Indian passport for my daughter.

2. Do the people at NCS ask for Indian passport as proof of Identity?

3. If I can apply without getting Indian passport for her first, would she still be eligible for PIO card once she gets a British Passport?

Many thanks.
Saurabh

Does that mean 'Yes' to question 1 or 'Yes' to all the questions?
