Note that one of the provisions is:

Allowing the introduction of charging for non-asylum applications over and above the cost of processing to raise income from those who gain benefits from coming to the UK.

This is what Tnavnon and others had been talking about a while back. Does it mean they will raise fees as early as August 1st? What applications will go up the most and when?

New Interim Procedures for Handling of Further Leave to Remain (FLR (IED) Applications

Following is an answer from HSMP about change of address, it would be helpful for any mobile guys like me :

Basically we need the address where we can contact you while we are
processing your application. The correspondence we send may require an
immediate response from you, or may include important documents, so it
is important you choose an address that you are able to check regularly.
You can change this address, if necessary, during the application process
by faxing it to us on 0114 274 3103.
