My wife is in the UK on a WP and is due to join back after taking maternity leave from her job.
Due to added responsibility of caring for the baby, we are thinking of negotiating better terms of employment with the employer. Essentially, this means taking 25% lesser salary for better terms (i.e. lesser resposibility at work though in the same designation as a departmental manager).
I am wondering if this would have an adverse impact on the case we build for ILR application in a couple of years time as the salary would be less at that time as compared to the one mentioned on the initial WP document issued by the HO.
Can anybody help/advise?
