SET(M) or FLR(M) - which application form to use?

Hi there,

I am not sure which one off - SET(M) or FLR(M) application form to use for my UK visa extension.

Here are my details:
* I entered UK on a Spouse Visa (dependent) on 31/10/2011 and this is due to expire on 31/01/2014.
* When I applied for the spouse Visa, my husband was on ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) / Permanent Resident visa.
* Last year (2012), he applied for citizenship and was granted the same. He is now a British citizen.

Given the above, when I apply for UK visa extension:
(a) Can I apply for ILR (Indefinite leave to remain)? If yes, which application form should I use? I assume it is SET(M), please confirm.
(b) If I cannot apply for ILR, then what application form should I use and what category should I apply in?

Any information you provide will be very helpful.

Thanks for the quick response. I have been reading about all the requirements for SET(M) for ILR and I gather I will have to take the Life in UK test.

Thanks, I had missed the "english test to level b1". For that, from the SET(M) guidance document, I read:

I have an degree in engineering form India and the medium of instruction was in English. Do I have to prove that or just the degree certificate would suffice? If I have to prove that it was taught in English, what are my options?

Is the degree awarded 10 points for English and at least 20 for qualification on the PBS calculator?

Yes it does. It awarded 30 points for the Qualification and 10 for English language. Will I need to take a print out of this and attach it with my SET(M) application as supporting evidence for English language qualification? Please let me know.
