Question about Dependent on 10 Years Rule

Post by saqib389 » Fri Jan 31, 2014 1:51 pm

Hi There

I have applied for my ILR on the basis of 10 Years.

My dependent (Wife) came in this country around October 2011.

So my question is sould he be elgible to apply for ILR once i have the IRL or does she need to wait for 5 years according to the new rules ?

My understanding was that as she came before the new rules (i.e. 5 years) then she should be able to apply once i have the IRL as she has already completed 2 years in UK.

Thanks
S

If she is a PBS dependent, she needs to switch to FLR(M) and then SET(M).
Char (CR001 not Casa)
