Sisters family visit visa

Post by Jasssz » Fri Feb 28, 2014 9:23 pm

Hello, my two sisters recently applied for a family visit visa from india for my sons first birthday celebration.
They applied at the vfs Mumbai on weds 19th February and on 26th both my sisters received a brief call not lasting more than five minutes from high commission asking basic questions like why u going uk, how long u going for, where do u work in india and as what , who will pay for tickets n maintainence etc, every evidence was provided.... Now today when we checked the status it says passports are ready for collection.. It's agonising wait, anybody can suggest what this looks like?? And what are the chances of visa been granted?????? Any comments will be appreciated...

They will only know when they collect their passports. Members on the forum cannot guess what their application outcome will be.

Thanks for the reply CR001
I understand that nobody can guess the outcome, but I certainly believe no harm in expressing a opinion based on the information provided. Whether a phone call was a good or bad sign and why ask the questions , answers to which has been provided in form of paper evidence etc.... It's really worrying for all of us in family...
