Took 8 months. It was a second attempt as the 1st one resulted in Refusal after a 10 months (!!!) wait for a decision ( a gap in overstaying in the 10year history,even though I had an application with Home Office, but I didn’t argue. Applied again when the law about a 10year history of immigration changed).
I see people here are nervous about not receiving a decision after 3 months, but the service standard is usually 6 months, if you haven’t received a decision after 6 months , most likely you will receive a reply in the next 6 months.
