I submitted IDV on August 26th, no approval yet

Just wondering what is the Email subject title for approval ? Did you guys receive it in Junk folder ?

I'm worried I missed the email. It would be helpful to advise the AM/PM as well so we know.

biometric re use mail on 6th Aug 2020.
until now not IDV App invitation.

UKVCAS telling they will send before 7th sep 2020.

Hi @null1639, I submitted via IDV on 24 Aug. and have not heard back either; so, don't assume it's exactly on date order for every individiual application. There's probably some variance and hopefully we'll all hear soon.

So at the moment, IDV decisions are all over the map, from March to May.
They are definitely not going in order application were submitted.

I believe decisions are based on the date of biometrics submitted via the IDV app. Note every case is processed on its own merits. Not all cases can have the same decision pace.

Perhaps not even exactly that. I submitted on 24 Aug., still waiting. But, like you said, individual merits (and possibly what luck you ride with caseworkers) have impact.

I've just received a Standard Service Letter email actually, which is making me even more worried.
Why have I just received this all of a sudden?

Dear recipient,

We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible.

This is because it is taking longer than usual to process applications because of coronavirus (COVID-19). This will not affect the decision.

We expect to make a decision on your application as soon as possible, but we will write to you again if this is not going to be possible.

Please note standard service is 6 months. Each case is processed on its own merits. Individual case processing mileage (more or less) may vary depending on the personal circumstances.
Also, this seems like a generic email. Some may receive it while others dont due to technical system issues.

no emails whatsoever. just reusing emails and idv one. nothing else so far.

As I was uploading my documents after varying my id and photo on the app. Half way through the uploads the app froze and I got busy when I looked at it again I ended up submitting my documents. But I still had a few documents to submit like my p60s bank statements and other extra documents. I rang ukvcas and told them about it they said I have already submitted the important documents and if needed I will be contacted to submit any further documents. I can however still upload more documents but cannot submit anymore. My question is what should I do now. Will this be an issue should I ring immigration directly?
Any advice and help would be appreciated please.

You may want to consider booking a UKVCAS appointment now. You can book an appointment even after submitting via IDV app. This may save you some delays.

Look at your junk folder then. You can also add any .gov.uk email address to your whitelist to make sure they don't go into spam.

Same here, I have spoken to my case worker and he said all he is still waiting for biometric and as soon it’s done he will inform the team to issue the letter. All is done from my end via IDV App. Not sure what is causing delay in biometric!!

Application 14th of April.
IDV submission on 24th of August.
Still no decision.

So don’t worry, they haven’t skipped you

And adding .gov.uk email address as safe is a good idea, as mentioned above, if you are worried you are going to miss the email.
