Today i received an email from ukvcas stating that i am eligible for biometric reuse but i have choosed to OPTOUT . when can i book appointment for Biometrics. How many days it will take to receive an email asking to book appointments .

When did you submit your application?

I have submitted ILRset(M) on 14th july

I have booked an appointment for tomorrow around 4:30Pm at Croydon. I have uploaded all the documents. Does anyone knows what to carry to the appointment.

Can you please confirm the format of the opt out email you sent? Both subject and body?

Hi all,

quick update - we had our biometrics appointment last week and just now received the ILR approval email. BRPs have been dispatched and should be with us within 10 days!

This was super quick - I was prepared to wait for the 6-month timeline in the Standard application process. Application mid June and decision Early August in the Coronavirus hit times isnt bad at all.

All the best to everyone, especially the ones waiting for Biometric reuse.

Please did anyone submit thier BRP? That's the leave to remain card when applying for ILR, as I still have mine.

Same. I sent another email with just the 16 digits and will check tonight if their process has enabled the application for me

Funny to see people who applied in July asking when they will be able to book appointment when people who applied end of march still stuck and left behind!!

yep, waiting from the beginning of Apr...

May I ask if you are in the re-use group and if you decided to wait or opt-out? I believe appointment is the way to make money for them, so 97% sure there will be lots of them for people who opt-out, and they will most likely be expensive I think it is a quicker way...

I hope we do not need to call & confirm with them. Even when I called, I am in call waiting list no. 20 or 30 or 40.

this is just so unfair.. i just cant believe they are doing this to march and april applicants.

applied online - April 1

received "eligible for biometrics reuse" email on July 4.
clicked submit documents button on July 13
received IDV app eligibility on August 3
saying "wait for few weeks"

i have applied on April yet i have seen June applicants receiving approval email.

I feel your pain. I am in the same boat as you. Applied in May and still stuck in their "few weeks" matrix. Don't get me wrong I am happy for the applicants that applied in June and have received their decision already, BUT it is so unfair for Mar/April/May applicants. They've literally punished us by putting us in the re-use category without our consent. (Whatever happened to their claim they made before about considering applications submitted from the earliest date to most recent) Unfair Management and an absolute joke of a system!

Yes, my friend got direct appointment & I am still stuck with Biometric re-use option.

Yes, but then people who opted out yesterday got appts for today. I opted out on Wednesday and I don’t see any appts. I can’t wait to get out of the clutches of UKVCAS. I will book the next available appt regardless of cost so I can forget this company.

i agree with you. I’m curious how one of the user got an appointment yesterday - was it one off or if he/she can see loads of slots

Document requests by email is for Tier 2 applicants.

Hi ,

I am not going to opt out. In their email, they clearly said it will be rolled out in August. My perspective, It is hard to get an appointment in August through UKVCAS.
