I wanted to share my experience to get ILR on the basis of 10 years you can have benefit from my experience.

Category: Tier 1 Entrepreneur To ILR

Current Passport

Appointment letter

Company information like current appointment reports
Company bank statements for 2 years
Paye statements for 1 year
Business contracts but I only provided one.
Company Accounts for last 3 years plus corporation tax but I did not provide them .


Keep all the business related documents but don’t provide all as they will ask if they need more. Keep the file as simple as possible. Went in at 10:00hrs, out at 15:00

No questions asked and after 5 hours they called me to collect the documents and told me that application was successful.

No need to hire any lawyer .
But Accountant is very important
Accountant letter should state following stuff.

1) When the investment was made as a director Loan
2) How many emoloyees and how many hours they do and pay rate
3) Tax details and company profit or loss for all the years .

Appoinmner was at 8 clock in the morning , got positive outcome by 12 clock .

I recently read on this Forum that people who had recent salary increases before their application had their applications deferred. I had an increase a month before my application which put me on the £35000 threshold. So that had me massively worried.
However my application was approved which was a massive relief.

As you said you switched two sponsors, apart from P45 did you get any other letter from your previous employers.

P45 or P60 are not required even if you switch sponsors. These are extra documents and not needed.

You'd need letter for absesnes from previous employer if you were away from teh UK

i have been a silence reader of this form. Thank you all who have been posting on thi forum. It saved me a hefty solicitor bill this time.

I was on DLR non asylum as was previously overstayed from 2007-2011. first DLR feb 2012.

Booked at solihul PEO for 8am on 10.1.2018.
Docs Provided:-
my Bank statements 6months
my pay slips 6months
childrens birth certificate + british passports
spouse british passport + marriage certificate
spouse bank statement + payslips 3months
joint name utility bills for 2 years and council tax 2years
letter for additional statement
we provided land registry doc as we own property in uk.
childrens immunisation letters

it was a very straight forward process.
checked payment receipt at counter 7.50am
they gave a number at 8am
number called at 8.05am
went to another counter, they took all documents and asked where to send biometric card and to confirm my contact details. (3minutes)
number called again at 8.25am this time in another room they took fingerprints and photo for biometric and was told to keep phone on loud and be in solihul as they will call within 1-2 hours.
received call at 9.18am to go and collect documents.
when I went there they gave me all original documents and a letter saying ILR approved and will receive card in next 7-10 working days.

Update:

Received my BRP card. The expiry date is upto 2024. As per my understanding this is due to biometric system upgrade.
I will apply for British passport next year anyway

Letter from Employer - detailing all paid leaves
Letter from Employer - mentioning "foreseeable future requirement", SOC Code, Annual Salary etc.
Payslip - one, for most recent month (certified by HR)
Current Account Bank statement - 6 months (ordered paper copy from bank)
Savings Account Bank statement - 6 months (ordered paper copy from bank)
One photocopy for each of these documents.

7. Any Additional Comments - Appointment was at 9 AM. Reached the center approximately 30 minutes before time, was allowed inside. After security check, waited until 9 and was handed a token then. I was asked then to go to a counter, submit application and documents at few minutes past 9. I was asked my current category, what am I applying for, and why my dependents are not applying with me. I saw first few pages of the form (until the payment page) were chucked in the bin in front of me, and was told they will now build the case in system. At around 9:30, was called for biometrics. I sat in waiting area until 11 AM, which is when my token number was called, a case worked gave me back all my documents and passports, and asked my to confirm my name, address etc. and initial on the paper. He kept my BRP card, and I was given a generic letter which stated that BRP will arrive within 7 days.

Alhamdullilah. I have a good news.
Been on this forum and an everyday reader. Been following all of your stories and was happy every time I saw a success story. Now here is my story.

Booked the appointment 42 days in advance. Made and took a file but it was not allowed by the Data Entry admins so make sure you don’t spend too much time and resources in making a file, even document folders or paper clips were not allowed. Booking time was 09.30am but I was allowed in at 8.30am, very happy. As suggested by others, airport style security, absolutely wonderful and friendly staff, didn’t feel I was in Home Office. By 09.30am biometrics was done and I was waiting for decision. After some time I got 3 calls on my mobile which I missed, ha. But then my name was called out, but it was not the answer but a letter from uni was asked, which was with me and provided. 1pm, ticket number called again, and it was the news which gave me shivers, I was told that the application was accepted, was very happy.

My advise, don’t give all documents, just give what is asked but keep all documents. I had all documents but I did not give all extra documents, just what they wanted. Make your and their life simple.

Called my mum dad and we all cried. It is a relief, thank you all on this forum, namely makky, thank you for your guidance and moral support,

Now I don't know what to do next. It's got a bit boring to be honest

Hi All,
Experience of CROYDON PSC
Arrived at 0810 but the appointment was for 0900. We tried to get in but were told to come back at 0830, so had to wait around theoutside the building. I noticed quite a few people going in at 0820 and i tried again and another Security guy let us in. Lifts were not working walked to the 3rd floor. 0830 at reception qued and told to come back, 15 Minutes before appointment, We sat in the canteen. 0845 at reception area again, brief check on Passports, application form and given a ticket with a number and told to wait in the Canteen area and listen out for our number. 0930 ticket number called Application registered. I asked about whether application woukd have been processed if photocopies were not provided, Staff member said it was upto you whether you provided or nnot. This took about 10-15 minutes a few questions asked and all documents put into two pouches one for original docs and second for photocopies . Told to sit in another area in the same room. 0945 Ticket number called for biometrics. This was about 5 mins. Asked to wait in canteen/wating area. 1150 ticket called DESK 44 adviser asked for the letter with ticket number, he gave us all our original docs. We had to read the letter to know about the decision. Postive outcome, thank god.

Book early if you can. By 1200, the time we were leaving there were around 140 people in the canteen/waiting area and only about (i am guesing 25 ppl who received their decisions and had alteady left). Croydon seems to be slower in processing than other PSC's judging from the earlier comments in the thread. If you have a 0900 appt probably not a goos idea if you turn nearly an hour early like us. As t
earlies are strictly for the premium customers but 30 Mins early ia okay for 0900 appt as security takes about 10-15 minutes and they did register our application 15 minutes befores appnt 0845 . Oh i tried and could not find the board, where it shows how your case is progressing i.e. under consideration ot not.

Dear Members i have a good news to share everyone.
I Got granted Indefinite Leave to remain through PEO service. Alhamdolliah Allhamdolliah.
Thank you very much to all members and admin who help me lot.

My story
Applied Asylum 2005 and refused 2007.
Made fresh claim 2011 and got granted 3 years discretionary Leave FROM 2012 TO 2015 OUTSIDE IMMIGRATION RULE.
Apply for further extension 2015 and got granted till November 2018.

Attend PEO Croydon center on 23 January 2018 at 09:20 am and got decision on the same day @13:50 pm

I was at a risk of redundancy 10 months ago where I was offered a letter called "Offer of Alternative employment" although still within the same sort code which got me a bit concerned.
A month after, I had an increase of £5 to round up my salary which put me on the £35000 threshold.

My appointment was 9am and I left there around 11:30am on Friday Januray 26, 2018.
ILR approved

I would recommend to go to premium service if possible. Waiting anxiously after postal application is too much to bear for some people.

Also if anyone driving from North please start early as there are some serious delay on M1 and M25. Parking is located opposite (NCP car park-Croydon Whitgift, Wellesley Road, Croydon, CR0 1UP) Lunar House (PEO Center). This parking is a little bit expensive but very convenient location wise.
