Hello Friends,
Need some help/expert advice based upon your past experiences.
I have applied for my wife & 2 children tier-1 dependant visa applications thru post on 13th June & Home office have attempted payment of £1683 (£561 for each) but unfortunately my bank considered that as unusal transaction & declined it, the bank called me immediately to confirm that they rejected the payment from Home Office. Though I have informed my bank in advance & they assured me that the payment will be alright but somehow they considered that I'll physically go to the home office & pay by card & when they saw online transaction their security team
straightaway cancelled it....now that I have informed my bank again, they requested me to contact Home Office & ask them to retry the payment, however when I called Home office after a long wait of 1 hour 40 mins, I got the response that Home office never retry the payment & that application will be sent back as invalid rejected. I asked them if that's the only option then please send the application back ASAP so that I can reapply with a cheque or postal order this time but then they said they have seperate department to deal with post & they can not guarantee by
when the application would be returned, in addition they said if it reaches you after 12th July (that's the current visa expiry date for my dependants), my dependants would have to leave the UK & apply from outside the UK.
Now I'm in trouble & can't decide what to do next - is there really noway for them to retry the payment ? or even ask for a new form of payment ? I would be more then happy to send cheque/bank draft/postal order..
But if they just want to reject the application they should atleast consider sending it back before the current visa expires & give us the chance to reapply within time.
The only mistake I think I did is that I should have applied for all dependants together with me in March when I got mines extended for 3 years in Belfast PEO...but....anyways... that's gone now, need to fix the current issue.
Also, we will be eligible for ILR in Nov'2012, think the above issues may affect the ILR eligibilty as well ?
Any advice would me much appreciated !
Thanks & Regards
