HSBC bank statments

Post by amrhady » Sun Jul 22, 2012 7:19 pm

Hi All,

I am renewing my tier 1, due to some reasons time is a bit tight for me.

HSBC bank statements take about 4 days, I was told by an immigration consultancy that I can use a printout from one of the banking machines inside the bank (That let you manage your account, print statements, etc...)

Anyone know if this is valid?

thanks.

please go to branch and ask them to print the statement for you .. and ask them if they could stamp that for you.. i used HSBC and the print out from the branch was fine for the case worker.. they did not stamp my statement nor gave me a letter but the print out was accepted by the case worker.HSBC say that they print in a laser paper and is accepted by the HO.

good luck.

I have 11 Months original Bank Statement - the last one is the one I have to get it printed from the bank due to the reason that it will not come to my home by my PEO date ...

HSBC Bank printout is OK ? I see the below is guidance doc ...

ii) Personal bank statements showing the
payments made to the applicant: Bank
statements provided must be on official
bank stationery, and must show each of
the payments that the applicant is claiming.
If the applicant wishes to submit electronic
bank statements from an online account
he/ she should also provide a supporting
letter from the bank on company headed
paper confirming that the documents
are authentic. Alternatively an electronic
bank statement bearing the official stamp
of the bank issuing the statements will
be accepted. This stamp must appear
on every page of the statement. For
the purposes of this guidance an online
bank account is one that operates solely
over the internet and sends their bank
statements to their customers electronically
(for example over the internet or via email).

As I had mentioned I think HSBC don't stamp on anything .. That what they did to me last time telling that they don't have stamps in branch anymore for customers to stamp on statement but the printout from the branch as statement was accepted by the case worker ..

Thanks - here is an important point to share ...

Today I walked into HSBC Bank & mentioned that I need statement print out on banks official stationary with letter head ... they immediately printed it of.

I mentioned that this is for Visa purpose & will require a validation proof - they printed a letter for me saying this is issue on my request etc etc...
I think this is sufficient for the case worker ...

So depending on who you meet in the banks ... you can or cannot get a letter .. cheers !

I also bank with HSBC and I'm missing one last statement for November which I will not receive until 3-4 December.

I went into branch today and all they could do for me was print out a temporary statement on HSBC letterhead and it shows transaction from 3rd November until today.
They refused to sign or stamp it because of their policy.

Would this temporary statement printed out in branch be acceptable for UKBA? I need to apply for FRL as soon as possible and if anybody succeeded in their previous applications with statements from HSBC please tell me if this will be ok. Thanks!
