Post by neti1 » Tue Sep 04, 2012 1:28 pm

hi

i m tier 1 general visa holder.

At present my partner is on tier1 dependent visa in UK, having job.

for my job workshop, I need to be in india, during same time my partner will be returning from india alone.

will uk BA allow him to enter uk as he is entering 2nd time, even if I am outside uk for another 15-20 days.

what do he need to carry with him or if i need to submit anything so that uk ba allows him

Hi,

Can some expert immigration person, Please help me. I am very confused, whether dependent can enter on his own, when I am out of country (outside uk).

do I need, him to carry any documents for precautionary measures ?

I am entering uk within next 15 days anyways.

I don't understand why you are confused? Is there anywhere written, on the dependent visa, that he/she can't enter alone?

If you (dependent) got a visa, you are allowed to enter alone as well as with you main applicant.

Just relax :)

thanks tahir,

just trying to avoid situation - where UKBA leaving him stranded on airport or not allowing to enter in uk. there is no other reason really, except that main applicant is Not in uk.

thanks ton again,
