Request for a COS Allocation - Processing Times

Hello All,

Kindly assist me with your thoughts.

My employer is in the process of making an Tier 2 Unrestricted Allocation request to UKBA.

1. How long does it take UKBA to come back to us with their decision?
2. If approved how long is this allocation on the employer sponsorhip system? I think it is one year and within this one year employer can use the allocation anytime. Could you please clarify?
