Is referee's sign required on photograph?

Post by hsmp28122006 » Sun Dec 23, 2012 11:20 am

Hi Friends,

Any idea if referee's signature is required on/back of photograph on page 12 of form AN?

I think it's not but some friends who have already gone through this process have confused me.

Thanks for confirmation!

No, referees do not need to sign photo, they need to complete and sign page 12. You need to staple the photo to the page.

It is only when you apply for your passport after naturalisation process and cereony that the referee has to sign the back of the photo.
