List of Documents for partner applicants of ILR.

Post by vikkuboss2001 » Thu Jan 03, 2013 11:21 pm

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum but found it very informative. My name is Vikas and I have got my ILR 6 months back. I am looking to apply a dependent visa for my wife who is currently in India. I went through the VAFA4 application form and was trying to collect the list of documents required.
As I understand this is the list of documents required?

For salaried employment:
1) 6 months pay slip with a letter from employer confirming the pay slips.
2) 6 months of bank statement where the salaries get paid.
3) P60.. do I need this? Do I need anything else for financial requirements? As I understand from the form, annual salary above a certain threshold is sufficient and no min balance as such is required?

For my residence proof in UK, can anyone suggest what documents are required? Will my tenancy agreeement or a council tax bill do? Also are there any other document required?

Thanks a lot for your help .. In case this has been answered elsewhere will appreciate if I can be redirected.
Regards,
Vikas

Under the new rules released in December, a P60 and signed constract of employment are optional. It would be a good idea to include just to be on the safe side.

This gives a more detailed explanation of the specified evidence required

The original tenancy agreement will be sufficient proof for accommodation. This can be supported by a council tax bill and a letter from an estate agent or surveyor confirming the number of rooms.[/code]

It would be much more useful to you if you kept all your questions in one post rather than post a new topic for each question!
