Citizenship - good character

Post by londongrl12 » Tue Jan 08, 2013 3:29 pm

Hi All,

I am hoping someone can help me. My husband got his ILR in 2008 but we couldn't apply for citizenhip due to him getting a fine in court. I had read you ahve to wait 5years after the convication before being able to apply but i recently heard that for applications after Dec'12 if you had a fine its only 3years, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance for your help
