Biometric Card - Spouses of UK Citizens

Post by Harpz » Thu Jan 24, 2013 1:00 pm

Hi All,

I just wanted to ask a quick question for all the people who have got ILR on the basis of marriage - married to a UK Citizen (SET M) form.

On the biometric card what endorsement do you have?

Is it "Family member of EU national" or "Spouse of UK Citizen"?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I just received mine, and I don't have it with me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure it just says, "Indefinite Leave to Remain".

It will only say :

Type of Permit : Settlement
Remarks : Indefinite Leave to Remain

There is no reference to the British spouse or Anything to do with EU as you get ILR under UK immigration rules not EU rules.
