How do you calculate 10 years?

Post by JS28 » Sun Feb 24, 2013 12:21 am

Hi everyone,

I am new here and just wanted some information:

1.) How should I calculate 10 years? is it excluding the time I was out of UK or based from the first date I enteredd UK? so for example, If I entered in 2003 then 10 years would have been this year?

2.) I made an extension of a student visa back in 2004 and this was done in person at PEO. everything was fine apart from one document so I wasn't denied but was sent to get the missing document. I was given 28 days. My extension was approved 20 days after my visa had expired. Will this affect my application since I lost the letter where it says 28 days on it?

Your response is much appreciated

Hi Vinny,

Thank you for your reply. I have been reading other people's post on here especially those who have been rejected due to a gap.

I did apply on time for my extension in 2004 but I was sent away to gather a document from Uni. How can I get a proof of this since I went through the PEO and I misplaced the letter from the HO?

:(
