10 years rule

Post by teryor77 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 2:29 am

I came into the country 2005 as a student, was on student visa for 5 years, work permit for 3 years, I am planning to marry bf this week, if my spouse visa is successful, I will be eligible for ILR in 5 years time but my question is, can I apply for ILR in 2015 as this would have made it 10 yrs in UK or do I need to wait till 2018(5 yrs after spouse visa)

Thank you in advance

You may apply for ILR if you satisfy the Long Residence requirements, including KOL.
