Applying EEA2 RC is a mere confirmation of residence as long as non-eea national is in relation with EEA national who is excercising its treaty rights. But applying with correct documentation is always wise.

I would imagine that almost everyone who got refused and did not appeal, have reapplied. This is not unusall. Just time consuming.

It is better to send relevant evidence to support your application than just every letter you receive in the post. Why do you think the HO care about your dentist?
You got rejected first time for insufficient evidence of your husband self-employment. Have you provided more evidence proving that? Or are you applying as self sufficient? Have you provide evidence to support that?

Applying second time doesn't mean the application would be treated faster. You join the queue as everyone else.

We apply as self sufficient and i think we provide enough evidence to prove it, Bank statements, money coming in, ISA account, CSI for both of us, inland Revenue taxes, Proof that he owns the house and paid the morgage off in full already which our income to support us comes from I think those are enough but its not what i think..

Banks statements showing some savings/balance and CSI normally meet the requirement of self sufficiency. However, a caseworker always want to make sure how these funds are accessible to EEA national partner.
