Incountry 5 year before the reciept of application

Post by sanyamkaushik » Tue Apr 09, 2013 10:06 am

Hi All,
A quick question. There is a requirement that the person applying for naturalisation should be in country exactly 5 years before the date when UKBA receives the application. I am applying through nationality checking service through my local council.

Do you know if the date of receipt of application is taken as when NCS recieves my application or when UKBA receives it from NCS.

Thanks.

Date of application is the date that the UKBA recieves it.
