Continuous period

Post by RDS3 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 12:27 pm

Is there a sure way of knowing if the continuous period of 5 years is broken?

Due to UKBA delays in 2012, I received my T2 ICT on 17 July 2012 (valid until 27 Jun 2014). Previous leave had expired on 14 Jun 2012. The application was not rejected or pending an action on me. It was the Olympic period then.

I know that if there are such delays on UKBA part its allright.

Can we know before paying for ILR if UKBA has the same view?

If you made a valid application before your leave had expired, then you were covered under Section 3C.

Yes I had applied before the leave had expired and the application was not returned as invalid. It was just delayed and hence it seems like a gap.

Thanks for reply.
