Need to move to UK

I'm Egyptian man 35yrs married to a British woman since Aug 2004 and have 2 children 8yrs and 5yrs old both has the British nationality and we live all in Kuwait (outside UK) and we are now planning to move to UK, my wife family settled in Uk and have their own private business and they can help me and her for the matter of finding a job and accommodation.
What I need to do to get the British citizenship (I know there are many steps and time to get that) please can you explain to me?
and also regarding the English test is it only in UK or it can be here in Kuwait

I have a Family visit Visa to enter UK borders but I'm intend to live with my family in the UK, can I apply to settle in UK by switching my visit visa to (family of a settled person) from inside UK? or it needs to apply from my home country?
Although I meet all the requirements to grant the Visa
If yes or no which application form should I need to fill and also expected waiting times if I apply from Alexandria, Egypt

It is NOT permitted to 'switch' form a visitor visa to any other category from within the UK. You will have to apply for a spouse visa from your home country. VAF4A form and I am not sure of the waiting time for applications in Egypt.

What is your spouses immigration status in the UK?

Are there children and if so, what is their immigration status in the UK?

Does your spouse meet the financial requirement?

You need to meet the English A1 requirement.
