BRP

Post by Louby Lou » Mon May 06, 2013 10:34 am

Hi,
I am a bit confused about Biometrics. Coming up to the end of my husband's spouse visa and looking at application for ILR. I don't understand whether we need to register for BRP before applying. If I remember correctly he had to give fingerprints etc when applying for spouse visa in Cairo. Does this count? We have no physical card though.
Also it states that we will be informed by letter whether he requires it- what generates this letter? Once we make an appointment for PEO?
Am worried that a hurdle will present itself at the last minute.
Thanks for any advice.

brp s are only issued for in country applications. if you are applying at peo, the biometrics will be done on the same day as part of the process.

Thanks for the info. I hoped that was the case, it's just that the SET M form is so insistent on it it made me doubt myself!
