Post by desertlord » Wed May 08, 2013 3:07 pm

Hi all,

can anyone from those who applied 3years/5years from arrival date and got approved tell us their timelines?

I am planning to apply on the same day I become eligiable I arrived to the UK 03 June 2010 and plan to apply 03 June 2013 via NCS, what to check with people who got approved that they did the same.

I can't wait extra couple of days due to business reason and may fly on the 04 June.

Thanks in advance for your useful contributions

As advised in your previous post by forum members/gurus, you can apply on the 3rd June and also, the UKBA states :
Start of the residential qualifying period
The residential qualifying period will be worked out from the day we receive your application. Most unsuccessful applications fail because the applicant was not present in the United Kingdom at the beginning of the residential qualifying period. You must make sure you meet this requirement before you make your application. For example, if we received your application on 25 November 2005, you would have to show that you were in the United Kingdom on 26 November 2002.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
In life you cannot press the Backspace button!!
Please DO NOT send me a PM for immigration advice. I reserve the right to ignore the PM and not respond.

CR001,
I am looking for the timeline for people who actually done it to see if there is any trend to delay / process this normally.
