does UKBA take old BRP at PEO?

does UKBA take old BRP at PEO?

This is a stupid question, but I can't find any real answers.

If you go to a PEO appointment for a visa renewal, do they keep your old BRP?

I'm just curious.

they will keep it only if your application is approved. otherwise, BRP will be returned to you...
