I m applying for AN next month 10 years long resident + 1 year ILR.
I got some genuine doubts pls help me...

I got appointment of 4th next month with NCS
Soon after week I m travelling to India for my brother wedding
Nearly for 4 months.

1) first if I received letter from HO for approval, and no one
At home to inform me. Still I can call local council for updates.
2) if I received letter and I m in India can I book ceremony date
For after 2-3 months or they send certificate back
To HO. Will they write/call me for ceremony. Or they wait for me ton
Call them. If so how long they wait for me?
3) how do I deal with HO / council from India.
4) can council book appointment after 2 and half months
For ceremony if I say I m in India.Ex. If I get approve letter
In July 2013 can I book ceremony appointment from India for
Sep/oct 2013.
5) if council send certificate back to HO how to get it back once
Come to UK.
6) will it be a problem if I resign my job soon after i apply
From NCS.Or I hAve to be working untill I get processed.

Pls some one who already experienced or gurus explain me
What I can do In this situation.
Mt trip to India is unovoidable.

why dont you apply when you come back from india?

there is a certain timeframe within which you need to book ceremony and also the ceremony needs to take place witin 90days after which certificate is sent back and you might have to apply and pay the fee again for naturalisation.

the letter will habe reference number which you need to book ceremony so if no one is at home to check your mail how will you get that?

I have arranged for letter and inform me when I am in India.

I cannot apply after coming back from india, as it will be more than 90 days I Stay in India. so this will triger to wait another one year to eligible.

well this is my senario,
I want to apply on 4 June 2013
assuming result/outcome by: 05 July 2013
travelling to India by 16 June 2013 - 3 Oct 2013.

So from there can I request council that I am in india for (July,Aug, Sep)
(deadline for booking ceremony is 3 months untill 5 Oct from the result !)
* Council will write letter or call to me if I dont call them after approval letter?
* Can I book appointment in early 3 oct 2013 ?
(as this will be within 90 days from the above result) what council mentions on web site.
