Not if you applied for ILR under long residency. She will need to apply FLR(M). The thread you have quoted, ILR was granted on WP+T2+T1 in which case SET(O) would have been correct.godfather.rocks wrote:I am bit more confused after looking at another thread: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=134928
If I understand it right - she can directly apply for ILR? [SET(O)]
as soon as you get your ilr- In how many days we have to apply after I get my ILR?
2 years if your partner with pre july 2012 rules, or its 5 years i assume- What will be the visa-duration? And when she will be able to apply for ILR?
And also that, how long will be the waiting time for this 'application for extension of stay' application? Hope that not another
Thanks Vinny! I see following point mentioned in that topic.vinny wrote:The sooner the better, before her leave expires.
Now she has been with me in the UK on PBS Tier 1 General Dependent visa for more than two years.Dependant eligible for settlement under long residence on their own merit: If a dependant qualifies for settlement under long residence on his own merit before expiry of current leave, then also there is no need to switch to FLR(M).
I assume you are applying from outside the UK if so then see Supporting documents guidance - settlementgodfather.rocks wrote:Guys, I am preparing for her FLR (M) application...
1. Can somebody suggest what documents we have to submit?
2. Also that - about english language requirement.. will it be okay if just show her bachelors' degree-certificate from India (that is in English)? Or she will have to give any English exam? If so, can she just give Life In UK test?
Thanks in advance!
No, applying in the UK only.D4109125 wrote:I assume you are applying from outside the UK if so then see Supporting documents guidance - settlementgodfather.rocks wrote:Guys, I am preparing for her FLR (M) application...

the UK to apply.'
It was an oversight which was duly corrected. If you want 'advice' I suggest you pay for it.godfather.rocks wrote:Guys, thanks for the efforts.. but please never advice anybody if not sure.
As voluntarily advised earlier too as how to deal a post. Best would be to read carefully in full, digest it but do not just jump on conclusion. If OP's has not mentioned enough information then better ask further question or paste the most relevant official information link.D4109125 wrote:It was an oversight which was duly corrected. The best thing is to start a new thread rather than posting half way through someone else's.sheraz7 wrote:As voluntarily advised earlier too as how to deal a post. I had a look at this again - and it seems that she can directly apply for SET(M)... on basis of clause 287(a)(i)(d).vinny wrote:The sooner the better, before her leave expires.
