Need advice SET (O) or SET (M)

Post by faisalkhan001 » Wed May 29, 2013 6:28 pm

Hi,

Apologies if this question has been asked before.

I got my indefinite leave to stay in November 2011 after completed 5 years on Tier 1 (G) visa. My wife who was on Tier 1 Dependent visa got her FLR (M) in April 2012. I was eligible for British Citizenship and got it this year in April 2013. Now I want to apply an indefinite leave for her. Can you kindly tell me which form I should use for her indefinite leave? Is it SET(O) or SET (M)?
I have already gone through below link. However still confuse. My best bet is SET(M). Please correct me if I am wrong.

A FLR(M) holder may apply for SET(M).

Thanks Vinny, One more thing to clear. I recently started to receive child benefit. It is under my name not on her. Would this benefit affect her application?

Thanks

No, if you are settled you can claim public funds without it affecting your spouse's application.
