British citizenship for my baby- DO i claim benefits on ILR

Dear Friends,

Can anyone please help me out. As I am not getting proper advice on my queries below.

!) I applied ILR in jan 2012, later in march 2012, we are blessed with baby in the UK. Recently I got my ILR in April 2013, with in 2 weeks I applied for MN1 form for my baby as a british citizenship. I just want to know that...

Did I apply correct form for my baby as a british citizenship?

2) its nearly 1 month since I applied for MN1, I haven't received any certificate yet other than acknowledge receipt. Anybody know how long does it take to approve? once it approves, what is my next process inorder to get british citizenship for my baby..

3) I am currently on ILR but no job. DO I claim benefits? if so what is the process to get benefits in correct way?

4) MN1 is under process and I am on ILR- Can i also claim child benefits for my baby? if so what is the process to do then.

I really dont know with regards to the above queries. I would really appreciate with you guys, if so spend some time and give me the best advice, it really helps others.

I have been waiting 2 months already for my daughters certificate. Once you receive the certificate, the child is British and you can then apply for a passport
