Do i need to go through the biometric process again?

I had a 3 yrs initial visa (first 2 yrs I didn't come to UK), I applied for an extension, got 2 years visa (where I received my first Biometric card). Now I am about to apply for another extension so that I can complete my 5 years stay in the UK.

My query is - Do i need to go through the biometric process again as I already hold a biometric card?
