Croydon PEO ILR Success & Next Steps

Hope all are well.

I got my ILR. At croydon PEO.

Big tip to those that are applying make sure ur taking copies of everything I managed to leave in 1 hour because she didnt have to do copies of anything she split my documents and said thanks for being so organised.

My Question is I have been in the UK since 2006. Married to a Brit and spent 2 years on FLR(M) (old rules) before getting ILR. My other half is already asking me to find out about Naturalisation and Passport cause she wants us to go travelling in December. I will get a big bonus and she will be off aswel. I really want to get too excited but can i go for it or not ?

If you have been legally resident in the UK for 3 years and are married to a BC, you can apply now for Naturalisation and if you meet all the standard requirements of spouse of BC.

Currently Naturalisation is taking about 2 months and then depends on how long you have to wait for your ceremony and certificate before you apply for your passport, which take another 6 weeks.

Firstly, congratulations on you ILR!

I just have a small query. Did you submit any letter from your employer stating number of UK absences (whether work related or not)

I am due ILR soon and have been away from the UK for just over 3 months in the last 5 years. These holidays were all non-work related so I am not sure if a letter from employer is needed?
