Confused!

Hello,
I am little confused when to apply for British
Citizenship,my husband got his ilr in 2002
But he never applied for British citizenship
I got my ilr last year in sep 2012 I was granted
a spouce visa in 2010 thru my husband
he was on ilr than as well so can I apply for citizenship
This year or my husband need to apply first?

Help plz...

No, if you husband is not British, you don't qualify on the 3 year residence rule. You will need to wait till you have 5 years residence unless your husbad applies for citizenship and once approved, then you apply as spouse of BC.

So if your husband doesn't apply, the earliest you can apply is September 2105.

Apply and get his citizenship before sep 2013 than
I can apply or still wait till 2015?

As soon as your husband applies, gets approval and attends the ceremony to receive his certificate, then you can apply as spouse of BC if you have been resident for 3 years and meet other the standard requirements.

One last question please,if he get his certificate in sep,so can

Once he becomes BC, you can apply exactly 3 years of your intial entry to UK so if you came to UK in 2010 then you can apply this year (permitting if you meet other requirements)
