Family application - Citizenship

Post by u_n » Sat Jun 29, 2013 11:20 am

Hi,

We had made family application for the British Citizenship.

Today I have received the approval letter for my child and myself from UKBA.

However, my spouse's approval letter has not yet been received. There is no reason for his application to be rejected.

Since the application was made jointly, I was expecting to receive the approval letters together. Kindly advice, if there are possibilities for the letter to arrive late for one of the joint applicant.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible, if he has been approved, that it will arrive next week as post is dependent on Royal Mail.

I made a family application last month as well. My son who was born outside the UK had his certificate come through last week.

I have been worried but this morning, all the remaining approval letters came in the post.

I wouldn't worry if I was you.

Hi,

Received my spouse's citizenship approval letter today along with the council's ceremony invitation letter.

Thanks to all, for providing guidance with this regards.
