ILR Dependent Visa - Child born in India

Hi,

Myself and my wife are in ILR visa since December 2012. Currently my wife is in UK and planning to go to India for delivery.

1. What type of visa I can apply for my baby from India?

2. If I am not able to apply ILR visa from India then when can I get ILR visa for my baby after reaching UK?

You need to apply for an entry clearance visa (see link below) before the child travels to the UK :

Also, if the child is born in the UK, he will be automatically British and can apply directly for a British Passport.
