Tier 2 ILR - falling short 2 months

Post by Vijayaravi » Fri Nov 08, 2013 11:50 pm

Hello,

I am due for ILR on March 2014. First time I got my tier 2 general visa for a period from 16/04/2009 to 15/04/2012. I have processed the extension for further leave to remain in February 2012. My Employer at that time provided a COS from 21/02/2012 to 15/02/2013. Now I am falling short two months for my ILR.

1)Do I need to go for extension again ?
2)In that case , Do I need to pay the whole fees for the period of 2 months I am falling short?

I have a dependent in UK who will have to go through the visa processing with me. Please advise me on this matter.

Many Thanks

If you are not eligible for ILR, then you and your dependants may apply for extensions (full fees), before leave expires. However, if these applications are undecided by the time you are eligible for ILR, then you may vary them to ILR (difference in fees).
