Can someone please be kind to let me know the supporting docs for residence permit for My newborn dependent? I'm on tier 1 General visa and are planning to travel abroad?

Your help will be greatly appreciated

One separate question, would I need to attach moms bank statement and our marriage certificate too?

You need to apply for Tier 1 Dependent. You will need
- your son/daughter birth certificate and passport
- copy of your BRP and Passport
- Your bank statement showing the maintenance funds

Go through the Tier 1 guidance.

Submit photocopies of passport and brp of both parents.
Submit marriage certificate
And it is enough to submit bank statements for maintenance funds of either one of the parent.

ps: If you search the forum you will find a fairly recent thread where an out-of-country applicant received a letter on a later date, and was asked to submit evidence (photocopies) of leave to remain of the other parent.

Nope, the requirement is only 3 months bank statements for proof of maintenance.
