Hello all

I am a naturalised British citizen and hold a British passport.I am planning to visit france with my wife and a kid.My wife and kid have indefinite leave to remain status and still posses Indian passport.Should they need a Visa to visit France and if so what is the type of Visa I should apply.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the reply. After looking the website my understanding was that I need toapply short stay visa for both my wife and son. Is these documents enough from my side... or should they fall under general category

· Application form

· Passport and UK visa

· Spouse passport

· Photos x 2(new)

· Marriage Certificate

Hotel Confirmation

Flight Confirmation

Also can I take the appointment for both of them at one time or I have take appointment as two separate items. Can I accompany them to go inside the consulate ??

Thanks
Kranthi

Your wife and son are eligible for free schengen visa as a family member of an EU citizen. Hotel and Flight details are not required as they'll excercise their rights of free movement. You also need to provide a copy of your British passport and your son's birth certificate.
