I am not clear about the switch over to HSMP visa from WHM.If you are in the UK and wish to Switch from your current status, WHM e.g., to HSMP Then you apply for FLR(HSMP) visa.
Since this is the first time your HSMP visa is being utilized you wont need to re-score points.
This is one of the most unfair parts of the new FLR rules. If you are earning at a particular level (converted to £s) in your home country, you are then expected to come over to the UK and earn a MASSIVE amount more in order to get a FLR.However,
e.g. 'Previous earning' category:
If I scored 45pt while in 'grade B' country for the HSMP visa, earning just above 17.5k pounds a year, I have to earn more than 40k pounds to score same number of points for the FLR visa ...
Isn't that the difference between being in a Band A country and being in a Band D country?Edelweiss wrote:This is one of the most unfair parts of the new FLR rules. Surely that makes sense, though? A salary of £8,000 would be a good one in many countries, but not in the UK.Edelweiss wrote:This is one of the most unfair parts of the new FLR rules.
