Schenghen Visa

I have applied to vfs in London for a shenghen visa on Monday morning. I am meant to travel on Sunday and only got an email on 9:50pm last night saying my passport was dispatched to the spanish embassy. I am from Belize which usually takes 5 working days according to the website. Any chance that it will be returned by Friday. Those with experience please help

My holiday visa for Spain in 2010 took 10 working days and I applied 4 weeks before I intended traveling as a spouse of a British Citizen. I am from South Africa and the website clearly stated between 5-15 working days.

Certain times are busier, like Easter coming up and the start of the summer holiday season, and this can cause delays.
