Claiming Child Benefit

Post by Sazrt » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:04 pm

Hiya

Me and my wife got ILR recently and I applied for Naturalization for my child born in UK and payment are yet to be deducted.

Can I claim the Child Benefit now. Will that have any problem for my child application? and also will that be any problem for our Naturalization application for next year?

Thanks

You can claim child benefit and any other benefits that you qualify for as you now have ILR.

No effect on British citizenship applications for your child or you and your wife.
