Hello, my partner a Colombian national living in the UK on an indefinite leave to remain has previously worked in the uk and has a uk national insurance number.

How does she claim benefits such as unemployment benefit? Is she as entitled as a fully british person?

Regarding state pension does she need to do anything to allow her to receive it in the future?

How does she claim benefits such as unemployment benefit? Is she as entitled as a fully british person? She is entitled to the same as British Citizens and should contact the local Job Centre or call the DWP. https://www.gov.uk/jobseekers-allowance/overview

Regarding state pension does she need to do anything to allow her to receive it in the future? She doesn't need to do anything except probably pay into the NI system
