Query on 3/5 years physical presence in UK

Hi Members,

I am planning to apply for BC on 17th Sep 14 when I will complete 12 months from my ILR. I read on the forum that there is a condition that I should be physically present in UK on a Three year back date which is exactly same as the date of BC application. Pls confirm whether it's date of application or when UKBA acknowledges the receipt of application or when they approve the application.

I was out of UK from 21st Oct 2011 to 13th Nov 2011 Three years back

Pls guide.

if your BC application is based on three years time period and you are going to apply on 17th Sep 2014, you should have been present on 17th Sep 2011 in this country.
moreover you must not have more than 90 days absence in latest year.

The date of application is the date +1day that HO receives your application.

ilrupdates that is not correct, CR001 is correct, it's 3/5 years +1 day. So if the HO receive the application on 17 September 2014. You should have been present in the UK on the 18 September 2009 if you're not the spouse/civil partner of a BC.
