How long it takes for passport office to return documents

How long it takes for passport office to return documents

I have been thinking about sending my passport application on 1st December via post office check and send service. But I have to get my Chinese passport and naturalisation certificate back before 16th December for my holiday to Japan. Is it too risky? It seems 7 to 14 days are the average time for applicants going with check and send service recently. please give me some advice. thanks!

It is risky. If I was you, I would wait to apply for the passport once you return from your holiday.
