What is your visa status? Is this a big college/university? What are you studying, and when does the course start?herts wrote:Hi sakura,
when i enquired a few weeks back one college is ready to take me as home student. I have been here for 3 years now. But am just concerned if my name does not come up in public funds. Coz i would have a probelm in getting ILR.

Can anyone have this experience and also answer.
I came under HSMP in November 2005 and got the extension in November 2006 till November 2010. My daughter came to UK in June 2006 as a dependant and now she got through Scottish Higher examination and qualified for University entrance. Therefore I am planning to send her to University after a gap year so she will be three years in UK by June 2009.
I am in the opinion that she will be treated as settle status after three years of staying in UK and so she will be not treated as international student to pay hugh tuition fee which is impossible to pay as per my earning.
Can anyone tell me whether the people who are in initial five years under HSMP considered as settle status or not?
it seems though still to be fully verified settel status comes after obtaining ILR status!
Thank you all
